Who are we?

Finding Benjamin is a money blog designed for young people. Based out of Rochester, NY, siblings Megan and Chris Hurley finally decided to quit arguing with each other and put their heads together on this project to turn it into a successful venture. 

Megan is a 2009 graduate of Nazareth College, with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. While the process of blogging is a brand new subject for her, she is enjoying learning new things as she goes along. When she’s not busy with Finding Benjamin, she enjoys riding horses and motorcycles,  being active, and spending time with friends and family.

Chris is currently a business management major at St. John Fisher College. He is skilled with computers, however blogging is new territory for him just as it is with his older sister. His creative mind will go a long way in the development of Finding Benjamin, and he is excited to watch this project grow. Chris enjoys a variety of sports and activities, most notably football and fishing. 

What do we do?

Our goal is to provide a vast resource of creative and successful money-making ideas for youth and young adults. Since the editors of Finding Benjamin are also in this age group (Megan is 22 and Chris is 19), we hope that any ideas we come across and choose to share will be intriguing to our readers as well. While we do not want to be a “job-finder” website, we would like to offer visitors to our site ways (some fantastically simple, others may require a bit more ingenuity) to potentially make a pile of “Benjamins”.
